How many times a day you’re walking and see your feet together? They’re just as independent as twins playing at the playground. And that’s what we declared when we designed our first pair of shoes —the independence of the foot.
That was in 2004, when we made the first pair of Chocolaticas exclusively for Carolina, the Cherry flats. We were tired of seeing everyone dressing always alike. It was very hard to show your personality with the same three brands selling everywhere. And we broke away from the flock, creating a pair of shoes that didn’t match. And it all began.
We were stopped on the street —a lot— to know where we had gotten the shoes. We were surprised to know that people liked them and that’s how we started a brand.
